Ski Alpin: Wengen-Kombi: Muffat-Jeandet wins, Fill fetches Kombi-Kugel

The first winner of the Wengen weekend in the Alpine Ski World Cup is Victor Muffat-Jeandet. The Frenchman won the Lauberhorn combination on Friday and thus his first World Cup race.

he Upper Austrian Vincent Kriechmayr, the fastest of the morning descent, retired in the slalom. With the overall World Cup leaders Marcel Hirscher and Alexis Pinturault, two top stars decided not to compete.

The World Cup ranking in the discipline was won by the Italian Peter Fill, who was third of the day behind the Russian Pavel Trichishev. Only two combinations were played this season. This is the minimum number specified in the set of rules so that a small crystal ball can be awarded.
