DEL: Adler Mannheim strikes Straubing and continues to catch up

With their third victory in a row, the Adler Mannheim continued their race to catch up in the DEL. The seven-time German champion defeated in a postponed game the final leg of the standings Straubing Tigers 7-3 (2-2,2-0,3-1) and narrowed the gap to tenth place to two points.

Sinan Akdag (2nd), Ryan MacMurchy (17th) and 49.), Christoph Ullmann (32.), Andrew Desjardins (39.) and 58th) and Garrett Festerling (59th) scored the goals in front of 7868 spectators for the Mannheim team, who are hoping for a play-off entry after a completely messed-up season. Alexander Dotzler (5th), Alexander Oblinger (15th) and Austin Madaisky (42nd) met for Straubing.
