In the game between the Los Angeles Clippers and the Houston Rockets it was the return of Chris Paul to L. A. hot. Blake Griffin and Trevor Ariza were ejected and there was a lot of talk after the game.
3:30 minutes to go before the end, after Griffin was fouled under Paul’s basket. Griffin and the protesting Rockets coach Mike D’ Antoni got technical fouls. A short time later Griffin and Ariza changed words and became ejected.
Even after the game, the waves still didn’t seem to be smoothed out, as Clippers coach Doc Rivers cautiously described,”Our entire team was in the cabin. That’s all I’m saying. I can also say that the entire enemy’s team was not in their cabin.”
Griffin also played down his argument with Ariza:”He asked me if I still wanted to come to his birthday party. Griffin also confirmed the statements of his coach:” We were where we should be. We were in our cabin. So we cannot control what the others do. Everyone was sitting in his place. That’s all.”
On the Rockets side, only Chris Paul said,”I don’t know what happened. We have suffered a bitter defeat today.”
