NBA: Sixers: Redick fails injured

The Philadelphia 76ers need some time on J. J. Redick forego. The Shooting Guard has problems with the fibula. This was announced by the team in a statement.

Redick injured himself against the Toronto Raptors on MLK Day in the final quarter. According to the team, the guard had a small tear in his fibula, causing Redick’s knee pain. The bone should also be slightly swollen. Redick will be re-examined in ten days.

The veteran was a key commitment for the sixers in the summer. The Free Agent signed for a year and 23 million dollars in the city of brotherly love. Redick scored an average of 17.3 points in this season, which is a career record for the 33-year-old. In addition, it hits 40.5 percent of its tests from downtown and a strong 94.6 percent from the free-throw line.
