NBA: Media: Rockets angry at judgement after cabin scandal against Clippers

The Houston Rockets are anything but happy about Trevor Ariza and Gerald Green’s suspensions. According to media reports, Houston is particularly pissed off that the clippers were not prosecuted by Austin Rivers or Blake Griffin.

According to Tim MacMahon of ESPN, the league’s verdict was quite astonishing for the Rockets. From Houston’s camp, it is said that Rivers and Griffin played a major role in the escalation of the situation. According to some sources, Rivers reportedly made some inappropriate and well audible comments from the cabin that the rockets players heard. That’s why Trevor is said to have tried to give Ariza the injured guard.

According to Rockets, Griffin also played his part in the escalation when he contacted Rockets coach Mike D’ Antoni. There followed a heated discussion on the pitch, and the two taps made technical fouls.

However, the league closed only Ariza and Green for two games. Chris Paul and James Harden, who were also under investigation, were not prosecuted.
