Handball: HSG Wetzlar long without Lindskog roundabout

The Bundesliga team HSG Wetzlar will have to give up its circle runner Anton Lindskog for six to eight weeks. The Swede suffered an injury to his left knee during the practice of the tenth place in the standings. In the event of a collision with a fellow player, the right-handed man suffered a distortion of the anterior cruciate ligament.

“The loss is a severe setback for us because Anton played incredibly well in the first half of the season. Not only in the middle block, but also as an alternative for Jannik Kohlbacher in the attack”, HSG Managing Director Björn Seipp said.

Lindskog will complete an individual program in the next few weeks.
