Alpine Skiing: Cortina: Lindsey Vonn wins – Ramona Siebenhofer Fourth

Lindsey Vonn celebrated her 40th birthday in Cortina d’ Ampezzo on Saturday. World Cup victory in one downhill run. Ramona Siebenhofer was fourth – 1.25 seconds behind and 0.27 behind the podium – best Austrian.

At the first success in this discipline since 364 days, the US ski star, who became the oldest winner of the women’s World Cup, had a 0.92-second advantage over the second-placed Tina Weirather from Liechtenstein. It was the 79th in all. World Cup victory for 33-year-olds.
