Ski Alpin: Kitzbühel downhill run: Thomas Dreßen provides sensation, Hannes Reichelt on third place

Sensation at 78. The second edition of the legendary Hahnenkamm race in Kitzbühel. The German Thomas Dreßen wins the descent on the Streif in front of the Swiss Beat Feuz (+0.20 seconds) and the Austrian Hannes Reichelt (+0.41). It was the first World Cup victory for the 24-year-old and the first downhill victory for a German since 2004.

The race is not finished yet, but nothing will change in the top positions – here’s the way to the Liveticker!
