Handball European Championship: Spain targets semi-finals

Former World Champion Spain has set his sights on the semi-finals at the European Handball Championship in Croatia. The European vice-champion came in second in Varazdin with a 31:20 (15:6) against Macedonia.

This put Denmark (six points) in second place behind Olympic champion Denmark and Germany (you’ll find the analysis of the match between Germany and Denmark) with four points. In addition, the Iberians played one game less.

Eduardo Gurbindo with six goals was the Spaniards’ best thrower. Macedonia (3 points) also have a chance to reach the semi-finals despite their defeat.
