Alpine skiing: Marcel Hirscher leads in Schladming, Kristoffersen lurks in wait

Marcel Hirscher leads after the first run at the night slalom in Schladming. The man from Salzburg runs almost perfectly and lies 20 hundredths of a second ahead of his fiercest competitor, the Norwegian Henrik Kristoffersen.

The two permanent rivals are virtually in a league of their own, Stefano Gross is already 76 hundredths of a second behind in third place, Manfred Mölgg (+0.86 seconds) is fourth.

Michael Matt is in fifth place after a slight defeat in the upper part with a gap of 1.09 seconds, Manuel Feller (+1.45 seconds) is seventh. Christian Hirschbühel (+1.74) takes ninth place with starting number 23, Marco Schwarz (+2.74) is 20th.
