NHL: Tobias Rieder’s Arizona Coyotes defeat New York Islanders

National player Tobias Rieder celebrated his second consecutive victory with the Arizona Coyotes in the NHL. The last in the standings won 3-2 after extra time against the New York Islanders, where goalkeeper Thomas Greiss and defender Dennis Seidenberg were not used.

Rieder (25) remained again without a score point. The match winner of the Coyotes was Nick Cousins, who scored 1-0 (13th) and won the game in overtime (63rd). Despite the victory, Arizona remains the worst team in the league with only 33 points out of 49 games.

Meanwhile, the Colorado Avalanche continued their winning streak. The 4-2 at the Toronto Maple Leafs was the tenth consecutive win for the Denver-based team.
