Olympia 2018: Immediately before Olympic Games begin: North Korea plans military parade

The North Korean regime is apparently planning a military parade – immediately before the start of the Olympic Winter Games in Pyeongchang/South Korea (9. till 25. February). According to media reports, Pyongyang, North Korea’s capital, is to be opened on 8-8 October. February on the occasion of the 70. On the occasion of the 50th birthday of the People’s Army a big parade will take place.

Satellite images of an airfield near Pyongyang should show the necessary preparations. CNN also reports that the regime has already sent out invitations.

On the 9th. February will see the start of the Winter Games in Pyeongchang – North and South Korea will compete with a joint team for the first time in Olympic history. The two hostile countries compete with a combined women’s ice hockey team.

In addition, both delegations will enter the Pyeongchang Olympic Stadium together as “Korea” behind a unification flag at the opening ceremony.
