Ice Hockey: Germany Cup no longer in Augsburg

After three years in Augsburg, the Deutschland Cup gets a new home. The Augsburg Panther announced on Thursday that the club could not agree with the German Ice Hockey Federation (DEB) on a continuation of the international tournament at the Curt-Frenzel-Stadium.

“We would like to thank the DEB, with whom we have been able to work together in a spirit of trust and friendship over the years,” said Leo Conti, Panther’s Marketing Manager:”Now we wish the managers at the new location every success.

For information about the new venue, the DEB has invited to the Königpalast in Krefeld for next Thursday. However, the association does not yet want to officially confirm the move to the Rhineland.
