Basketball: Brose Bamberg loses at EuroLeague leader Moscow

Brose Bamberg has won the EuroLeague’s seventh consecutive away defeat and has thus lost out in the play-offs. The German basketball champion was defeated 72:81 (30:39) in Russia by CSKA Moscow, and after 20 of 30 games in the main round, the Franks are now down to seven victories and 13 defeats.

Bamberg found the match well and made ZSKA’s life difficult, but fell behind in the middle of the second quarter for the first time in double digits. After the break, the guests were not able to put the EuroLeague champion of 2016 in trouble again. Best thrower in the Bundesliga team was Dorell Wright with eleven points.
