Ski-alpine: DSV with eleven active skiers for the Alpine Junior World Championships

Due to numerous injuries, the German Ski Association (DSV) will be in the 30th place at the Alpine Junior World Championships in Davos. January to 8. February) with only eleven participants. Fifteen German competitors had competed at last year’s competitions in Are/Sweden – they had won two bronze medals.

The line-up includes Jessica Hilzinger (Oberstdorf), also nominated for the Olympics, and Katrin Hirtl-Stanggaßinger (Königssee), who had already won silver in the slalom in 2016. The DSV’s line-up:

Women: Jessica Hilzinger (SC Oberstdorf), Katrin Hirtl-Stanggaßinger (WSV Königssee), Julia Mutschlechner (SC Partenkirchen), Nora Brand, Leonie Flötgen (both SC Starnberg)

Men: Christoph Brence (SV Bruckmühl), Anton Grammel (TV Kressbronn), Fabian Gratz (TSV Altenau), Fabian Himmelsbach (SC Sonthofen), Adrian Meisen (SC Garmisch), Nikolaus Pföderl (SC Lenggries).
