DEL: Munich consolidates first place

Red Bull Munich is first place after the main round in the DEL. The defending champion won on the 47th. At the second matchday at Krefeld Pinguinen with 3:1 (1:1,2:0,0:0) and extended at least temporarily the advantage on pursuer Nuremberg Ice Tigers to eleven points.

Brooks Macek (6th), Steven Pinizzotto (29th) and Mads Christensen (40th) scored the goals of the Munich team. Justin Feser (17th) scored for the Krefeld team, who as penultimate only have a theoretical chance of making it into the pre-playoffs.
