Golf: Kaymer misses top 10 in Dubai

Germany’s top golfer Martin Kaymer missed the Dubai Desert Classic in spite of a good final spurt to the very thin top 10. The 33-year-old from Mettmann finished 19th after four rounds on par-72 with 273 strokes. Place.

With only one stroke less, he would have finished sixth like 13 other players. Kaymer have four birdies on the last ten holes.

In the lead Li Haotong and Rory McIlroy had a thrilling duel, which the Chinese Li won with 265 strokes just before the four-time Major winner from Northern Ireland (266).

It was Li’s second victory on the European tour after his triumph in 2016 at the China Open.
