NBA: For Boogie: Paul George moves into the All-Star-Game

NBA-Commissioner Adam Silver has appointed Paul George for the All-Star-Game on 18. February in Los Angeles. The Small Forward of the Oklahoma City Thunder replaces DeMarcus Cousins, who tore his Achilles tendon last night.

This is the fifth time in a row that George will be at the All-Star-Game. The 27-year-old was considered the biggest snub after the announcement of the results of the All-Star Voting, his non-nomination was met with incomprehension by team mate Russell Westbrook. Now PG-13 is going to be in LA. and run up on the LeBron James team.

In his first season in the Oklahoma City Thunder jersey, George has an average score of 21 points, 5.5 rebounds, 3 assists and 2.17 steals per game. In addition, with a threesome rate of 42.6 percent, it sets a career record. The head coach of the team decides whether the forward cousin will also replace LeBron in Team LeBron’s Starting Five.
