Tom Brady has the chance to celebrate his sixth Super Bowl title by beating the Philadelphia Eagles. The 40-year-old has emphasized several times that he wants to play for a long time – for the first time ever, he struck milder notes.
“I never want to harm the team,” Brady explained at the opening media day of Super Bowl Week and went on to say:”That’s why I see it this way: As long as I’m still playing at a high level and dedicated to the goal of taking care of my fitness all year round, I’m going to keep on doing it.
But then the 40-year-old also made it clear:”I don’t know. Things are changing fast. Everything is possible, but of course I want to continue. I love playing and I love playing for the patriots.”
Brady has repeatedly stressed in the past that he wants to play until he’s 45. The patriots obviously trust him, since they decided to trade away backup quarterback and designated Brady heir Jimmy Garoppolo during the season.
However, the Quarterback has now released a Facebook series entitled “Tom vs. Time”, which provides some behind-the-scenes insights into the Brady household and also shows how Brady manages to play at the highest level in the high professional sportsman age.
