NBA: Rasual Butler deceased at the age of 38 in a car accident

Former NBA player Rasual Butler died in a car accident at the age of 38 on the night from Tuesday to Wednesday. Butler’s wife Leah LaBelle, a R&B singer known in the USA, also died in the accident.

According to TMZ Sports, the reason for the accident in Studio City, a district of Los Angeles, was allegedly the increased speed of the car.

Butler joined the Miami Heat in 2002 at 56. He then played with the Hornets, Clippers, Bulls, Raptors, Pacers, Wizards, Spurs and Timberwolves.

The latter dismissed him after five missions at the beginning of the 2016/17 season. Butler then ended his career. He played a total of 809 games in the NBA.

Prior to his NBA career, he was a successful college student at La Salle Explorers. He was twice elected to the First Team All-Atlantic 10 and has been a member of the Hall-of-Athletics in La Salle since 2008.
