ESPN: Warriors have a chance at LeBron!

Drumbeat in the NBA! ESPN reports that the Golden State Warriors could have a chance to meet LeBron James in the summer.

According to the report,”Out of respect for the Warriors’ culture,” James would listen, the report says. However, the Warriors currently have no plans to do so.

James has a $35.6 million player option on the Cavaliers for next season, but it is expected that he will not draw them. It is possible to change or stay in Cleveland on better terms and conditions. James, however, has a bad relationship with Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert.

According to ESPN, sign-and-trade would be the most likely scenario for this spectacular change. For example, the Warriors could put together an offer for Klay Thompson and Andre Iguodala, so that salaries would be reasonably low. For the Warriors, Kevin Durant would also have to give up his salary to make room for James.

James played with the Cavaliers in the last three years in the finals against the Warriors. In 2016 Cleveland won, and in 2015 and 2017 the title went to Golden State.
