NFL: Brady wondering,”Why does everyone want me to end my career?”

One of the central storylines around Super Bowl LII (Sunday from 11.45 pm live on DAZN) is the future of the New England Patriots – what about Bill Belichick and Tom Brady? Especially with Brady, rumors about the end of his career have been going around for years, and now the quarterback again spoke out.

Confronted with Jonathan Kraft’s statement, son of team owner Robert Kraft, saying that Brady “deserves the right to make a decision when he wants it,”Brady replied at his press conference on Wednesday with a grin:”Why does everyone absolutely want to end my career? I don’t understand that. I’m having fun and the team is in good shape.”

He knew that “I’m a little older than most of the boys. But I’m really enjoying this. Of course I enjoy the experience of being in this game. This is always a dream come true. It takes a lot of work to get to this point and our team has worked hard.”

At the same time, however, it is also “against a very good team. That’s why I don’t think about ending my career at all. I’m thinking about the Super Bowl, trying to win the most important game of the year.”

In addition, Brady once again added that he “always wanted to play until mid 40s. We’ll see about that. Football is a very physical sport, every game can be your last game. This is the reality of this sport.”
