NFL: Chris Long: Coaches tattoo for Super Bowl win

Chris Long could still regret this statement. The defensive end of the Philadelphia Eagles told one of their coaches before the season that they wanted to get a curious tattoo for a Super Bowl win. Now that the possible bet is only one game away, the coach has come back to it.

“When Chris arrived here, we were talking about there’s nothing like winning the Lombardy Trophy,”Linebackers coach Ken Flajole told ESPN,”He replied,’ Hey, if we win the Super Bowl, I’ll have your face tattooed on my body.”

Long came to Philadelphia from the Patriots before the season and met his former defensive coordinator at the Rams, Flajole. The Eagles won 13 games in the Regular Season as well as the following playoff games and will be in the Super Bowl on Sunday. For Long, this could mean that he will soon be wearing the face of a 63-year-old on his body.

“I will definitely encourage him to do so,”Flajole continued,”maybe he will try to negotiate his way out of the situation, but I think he is willing to do so. He’ll probably do it in a place that’s hard to spot, where no one’s gonna ask him,”Who’s the guy?”
