Basketball: DBB membership increases

For the first time in 13 years, the German Basketball Federation has broken the 200,000 mark. According to the current inventory survey of the German Olympic Sports Federation, the association has 203,028 memberships and is thus ranked 17th among Germany’s top sporting associations.

The DBB reached its highest level in 1998 (207,780) and its lowest level in 2010 (190,152). The largest sports association is the DFB with more than seven million members.
