NBA: Media: Russell Westbrook is not punished for pushers in Denver

Russsell Westbrook of the Oklahoma City Thunder will not be punished for his push against a fan in the Denver Nuggets tour. This is reported by several media. On the other hand, the spectators who ran on the court must expect an arena ban.

This is reported by Royce Young and Ramona Shelburne of ESPN. After the dramatic ending in Denver, where Gary Harris met the nuggets winner for 127:124, a fan left his seat and provoked Westbrook on the court. The MVP let itself be carried away to a little push, which will probably not result in a penalty from the league.

We can confirm that the Denver Police Department and Arena Security were involved. The NBA is now in charge, they will continue to investigate the matter,”the nuggets announced in a statement.

Westbrook called it “unacceptable”after the match that a spectator could enter the field after the match. The league also examined whether the MVP should be punished, but after some investigations it refrained from doing so.
