The Chicago Bulls traded Nikola Mirotic to New Orleans. One of the reasons for this was that after the fight with Bobby Portis, there was still a lot of tension within the team. Portis now commented on the relationship between the two after the incident.

“I’m sorry about what happened,”Portis said to K. C. Johnson from the Chicago Tribune.”We have tried to be professional and that it works on the court. Mitotic and Portis stood together on the field, the Bulls scored 14.9 points more than their opponents when extrapolating to 100 possessions.

“But it was a bit different from the field,”Portis admitted,”We played cards on the plane once. It was rather uncomfortable, so we dropped it.”
