Winter Sports: Crashed Ice: Austrian Luca Dallago wins in Finland

This winter, the Red Bull Crashed Ice World Championship will become a family duel. After the victory of the Austrian Marco Dallago in the opening race in St. Gallen. Paul/USA on Saturday, his younger brother Luca Dallago won in Jyväskylä, Finland.

In the first race in daylight, the 26-year-old clinched his first career success and left the Canadian Scott Croxall behind him.

Croxall’s older brother Kyle finished first, but was disqualified in the final as well as Marco Dallago. As in the first race, the American Amanda Trunzo won the women’s race.

During the Ice Cross Downhill, participants race down an ice channel laced with obstacles on skates at speeds of up to 80 km/hr.
