Olympia 2018: McIlvane new Storm Assistant – Slider exchange on four-man bobsleds

Two and a half weeks before the competitions in Pyeongchang, there is a change in the four-man bobsleigh in the German Olympic team. As the DOSB announced on Monday, slider Christian Poser will change from pilot Nico Walther to world champion and overall World Cup winner Johannes Lochner.

New in the Walther team, substitute driver Alexander Rödiger will act as a pusher.

In the ice hockey team, Munich’s co-trainer Matt McIlvane replaces the new head coach from Düsseldorf, Tobias Abstreiter, in the coaching staff of national coach Marco Sturm. Before he was promoted to head coach of DEG, Abstreiter was supposed to be a storm assistant.
