Dirk Nowitzki reached another milestone in the game against the Los Angeles Clippers and was sixth NBA player to break the 50,000 minute mark in the regular season.

His jersey did not do justice to the occasion, however: his name was misspelled and the jersey said “Nowitkzi”.

After the game he was confronted with it and said:”I’ve only just seen it, to be honest. I had no idea. But I guess this kind of thing happens. Actually, that sums up our season pretty well.”

The German was visibly frustrated after his team gave yet another victory against the Clippers. From a 10-point advantage in the last quarter, the 37th place was finally won. Defeat of the season, no team has lost more often.

According to the Dallas Morning News, the jersey will be auctioned off for a good cause.
