Olympia 2018: Pyeongchang: 78 percent of all tickets sold for Olympia

After a difficult start, ticket sales for the Olympic Winter Games in Pyeongchang (9. till 25. February) on the home stretch.

78 percent of the tickets were sold on Wednesday, two days before the start of the 23rd edition. Winter games, sold. That is what President Lee Hee Beom of the POCOG Organizing Committee told the IOC Assembly in Pyeongchang.

A total of 1.18 million tickets were offered for the competitions. The start of sales was accompanied by problems. At the beginning of September, only 4.8 percent of tickets were sold. The political rapprochement between the two Korean states and the torchlight run by the host country have increased interest in the games.
