Olympics 2018:15 more Russians prefer CAS

15 other Russian athletes and coaches have moved to the CAS International Sports Court. The group intends to lodge its invitation to participate in the Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang from Friday, which the International Olympic Committee (IOC) refused to give it because of violations of the anti-doping rules at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi.

Athletes include cross-country skiing star Alexander Legkov and skeleton pilot Alexander Tretyakov.

Already on Tuesday, 32 Russian athletes had already moved to CAS’s ad hoc court in order to be able to compete in South Korea. The hearing of this group began at 1 pm on Wednesday.
