MLB: Cubs manager Joe Maddon opens restaurant in Chicago

Joe Maddon, the Chicago Cubs manager, will open a restaurant next to Wrigley Field, the Cubs’ ball park, according to a media report. A star chef should be a partner in the project.

As the Chicago Tribune reports, Maddon and chef Tony Mantuano, who works at the famous Chicago restaurant Spiaggia and is a confessing Cubs fan, have joined forces to open a restaurant in The Park at Wrigley, right next to the stadium.

It will not be the first restaurant for Maddon, because he already has an Italian restaurant in Tampa/Florida from his time as manager of the Tampa Bay Rays.

Further information on the new Maddon project is expected in the next few weeks.
