NHL: NHL: Victory for Rieders Coyotes, defeat for Seidenberg’s Islanders

Victory for Tobias Rieder with the Arizona Coyotes, defeat for Dennis Seidenberg with the New York Islanders: The two national ice hockey players experienced a different evening in the NHL.

While attacker Rieder celebrated his team’s first win in a 4-3 draw against Minnesota Wild after four defeats, defender Seidenberg and the Islanders were beaten 3-4 by Buffalo Sabres.

For the Islanders, where national goalkeeper Thomas Greiss was not used, it was a setback in the fight for play-off participation. After the second consecutive defeat, the team ranks ninth at the Eastern Conference. Despite the victory, Arizona is trailing on the last place in the west.
