BBL: Ulm misses fourth victory in a row

Ratiopharm Ulm suffered a setback in the BBL in the fight for the playoffs. The team of coach Thorsten Leibenath lost to the home crowd against the Giessen 46er 90:95 (38:55) and missed the fourth victory in a row.

Ulm is currently in seventh place with 24:16 points, Gießen remains eleventh (22:20). The best thrower of the encounter was John Bryant from Giessen with 33 points.

Meanwhile, EWE Baskets Oldenburg (26:16) consolidated their place in the play-off ranks with an 88:68 (37:40) against the Rockets Erfurt.

After the defeat, the team from Thuringia is still level on points (8:32) ahead of the Goettingen club, which occupies the first relegation place.
