The Cleveland Cavaliers have almost changed their entire squad around the trade deadline. LeBron James, however, avoided sending peaks towards the old Teammates after defeating Atlanta.
After the 123:107 victory of the Cavaliers, James didn’t want to talk about a kind of new beginning:”It’s not about what the other guys didn’t bring or what the new boys bring,”says James.”We’re all pros and we were happy with the team we had. We’ll be happy with the new guys, too. This is how this league works, it’s a business. There’s no follow-up against anyone.”
While Dwyane Wade played for his new (and old) team Miami on Saturday night, the Cavaliers newcomers George Hill, Larry Nance, Rodney Hood and Jordan Clarkson watched the game of the Cavs. Coach Tyronn Lue announced, however, that the quartet will be present at Sunday’s top game against Celtics (at 9.30 pm in the LIVESTREAM at SPOX).
Atlanta were therefore only eight players, before Lue played Ante Zizic and London Perrantes for the last minute. In addition to James, Kyle Korver (30 points), Jeff Green (24) and Rookie Cedi Osman (16) shone particularly well:”I think some of the boys were very happy about the extra opportunities they got today,”said James.
Osman, whose role is now likely to grow, confirmed this euphorically:”With the new guys we will be perfect. Younger, more dynamic and with more energy. So I’m really excited,”said the Turk.
