Tom Brady set several records in the Super Bowl Shootout against the Philadelphia Eagles – but in the end the third Super Bowl bankruptcy in the 40-year-old’s career came to an end. Brady finally turned to the public on Friday via Instagram.
“It took me a few days to think about our Super Bowl defeat and the great season of our team. You have many feelings when you don’t reach your goal – and they are all instructive and part of the growth in life. When you learn from it, everything becomes something positive. And my primary feeling is gratitude,”wrote Brady via Instagram.
He “feels this gratitude towards my fellow players for their incredible dedication throughout the season, no matter what challenges we faced. To my coaches for their commitment and the sacrifices they make to give us players the best possible chance of winning. To the Patriots organization for supporting us on our challenging and difficult journey.”
But also, Brady continues,”Gratitude” to the Philadelphia Eagles, who brought out the best in us and were good winners. Also, thankfulness to the fans who have supported us every week and put their time, energy, love and support behind us. And gratitude to my family and friends who continue to support my dreams.”
Brady has already announced that he will also play in 2018. The future Hall of Famer will then be 41 years old and its 19. NFL season. He won the MVP award last season.
