Ski freestyler Gus Kenworthy is proud to represent the USA as a homosexual athlete at the Olympic Winter Games in Pyeongchang.

“We are here. We’re gay. Get used to it,”wrote the 26-year-old on Twitter. The Slopestyle silver medallist from Sochi published a photo of him kissing U. S. figure skater Adam Rippon on the cheek.

“I’m so proud to represent the gay and lesbian community with this great guy. Take this, Pence,”Kenworthy told Instagram – a side blow against US Vice President Mike Pence, who had travelled to the opening ceremony. Pence has repeatedly made disparaging remarks about gays in the past.
