Andi Langenhan was close to his first Olympic bronze medal last winter, when the IOC declared Russia’s results of the 2014 Winter Games in Sochi to be invalid in a row. The 33-year-old takes his supporting role in the turmoil of the Russian doping scandal with humour.
“Suddenly someone told me that I could move up to third place and I thought:’ All right, that’s a nice Christmas present,’ Langenhan said in the run-up to the men’s race at the games in Pyeongchang on Saturday.
