Olympia 2018: Bach visits North Korea after the Winter Olympics

IOC President Thomas Bach will visit North Korea following the Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang. This was confirmed by the International Olympic Committee on Monday.

IOC spokesman Mark Adams said that Mr. Bach was on 20 December during the talks between the two officially hostile Korean countries and the IOC. The meeting was invited on January 1. At that time, it was decided in Lausanne that North Korea would send 22 athletes to Pyeongchang in South Korea.

There is no date for the visit to North Korea so far, emphasized Adams.
