Olympia 2018: Norway’s cross-country skiing star Kläbo wins Olympic gold medal in sprint

Norwegian cross-country skiing star Johannes Hösflot Kläbo won the gold medal in the sprint at the winter games in Pyeongchang.

The 21-year-old prevailed in the final in classic style, ahead of Italian Federico Pellegrino, who finished in front of Alexander Bolschunov from Russia’s Olympic athletes after a photo finish.

The two German starters, the skiathlon eleventh Thomas Bing from Dermbach and Sebastian Eisenlauer from Sonthofen, had failed in the quarter-finals.
