Olympia 2018: Biathlon: Johannes Thingnes Bö triumphs in the singles – Germans run out of money

The Norwegian Johannes Thingnes Bö won the biathletes’ individual race at the winter games in Pyeongchang and won his first Olympic gold medal.

The three-time world champion won after 20 km despite two penalty minutes with 5.5 seconds ahead of Jakov Fak (Slovenia) and Dominik Landertinger (Austria).

For the first time, German biathletes had nothing to do with the medal ranks in the sixth round of the Games.
