Olympia 2018: Ladies’ giant slalom: Mölgg leads, Austrians defeated

Manuela Mölgg is leading the Olympic Games in the decisive second round of the giant slalom. The South Tyrolean rider leads in Yongpyong 0.20 seconds ahead of Mikaela Shiffrin from the USA and the Italian Federica Brignone (0.29). The best Austrian is Stephanie Brunner as ninth (0.91), she is missing about six tenths of a podium finish.

The other ÖSV runners were less well off. Anna Veith (1.81), Ricarda Haaser (2.75) and Bernadette Schild (3.88) probably have nothing to do with the battle for precious metal. The second round begins at 5.45 a. m. CET.
