Olympia 2018: After sixth place in the Super-G: Hate Tweets will be awarded by Vonn

Ski superstar Lindsey Vonn has had to take ridicule and mockery over Twitter after her sixth place in the Olympic Super-G of Pyeongchang.

“You got what you deserve”,”Karma” and “No White House visits.” Only winners, not naggers” was the motto of three of the many posts from sympathizers of US President Donald Trump. Vonn had announced before the Winter Games that he would not accept an invitation to Trumps to the White House in case of another Olympic victory.

“It’s okay. Not everyone has to like me. My family loves me and I sleep well. If they don’t like me, their problem,”Vonn replied via Twitter. The next chance for her second Olympic gold medal after 2010 is offered to the speed specialist on Wednesday (11.00 OZ/3.00 CET) in the downhill run.
