Golf: Kaymer misses top result

Martin Kaymer missed a conciliatory result at the US tournament in Pacific Palisades, California.

After a par-round (71 strokes) to close, the former world number one finished the $7.2 million tournament with a total of 286 strokes on the split 53rd place. Rank. After a 67 lap on the second day, Kaymer was still in 15th place at the half time.

Bubba Watson (USA/272), like Kaymer two-time Major Winner, won after almost two years without winning the tournament with two strokes ahead of his fellow countrymen Kevin Na and Tony Finau and secured his third victory in the Riviera Country Club near Los Angeles.

Superstar Tiger Woods had failed in his second Tour tournament after an injury break of almost one year with 148 strokes (72+76) at the cut after two rounds.
