NBA: Redick of the 76s puts misunderstood racist remark in order

J.J. Redick has recently caused a stir as he made a racist remark in a video in which 30 NBA players congratulate Chinese fans on New Year’s Day. Now the sniper puts the situation in order.

“When I saw the video, I was speechless,”he explained in a tweet:”It is misunderstood. Nobody heard the recording. If I had thought it would sound like this, we would have shot the video again,” Redick assured that such a word is not part of his vocabulary, however.

In the meantime there is a new version of the video without the section with J. J. Redick, currently under contract with the Philadelphia 76ers.
