NHL: Leon Draisaitl loses with Oilers against Boston

Leon Draisaitl and the Edmonton Oilers lost their second consecutive victory in the professional ice hockey league NHL. The team around the youngster from Cologne gave a 2-0 lead against the strong Boston Bruins on Tuesday (local time) in the final period and lost 2-3.

For the five-time Stanley Cup winner, it was his seventh defeat in the last eight games. In the Western Conference, the Oilers are the penultimate with 52 points, only the Arizona Coyotes (44) with Tobias Rieder (25) have fewer points.

Ryan Stroome and Jujhar Khaira brought the hosts into the lead. Noel Acciari, Matt Grzelcyk and David Krejci turned the match in favor of the six-time Stanley Cup champion. Draisaitl (22) scored no goal in 19:22 minutes.
