Olympics 2018: Sofia Goggia wins gold, women’s ÖSV women are left empty-handed

Sofia Goggia wins downhill gold at the Olympic Games in Pyeongchang. Silver surprisingly goes to the Norwegian Ragnhild Mowinckel, who is only nine hundredths of a second behind. Lindsey Vonn (USA/+ 0.47 sec.) wins bronze.

The ÖSV-Ladies are empty. Ramona Siebenhofer is the best Austrian with a gap of 1.76 seconds behind her in 10th place. Nicole Schmidhofer (1.80 sec.) finishes twelfth, Cornelia Hütter (+1.82 sec.) reaches 13th place, Stephanie Venier falls.
