The separation from the former success coach Andrea Trichieri seems to have taken place at the beginning of the week with the crises of basketball champion Brose Bamberg in the hauruck procedure.
More than 48 hours after the resignation of the Italian, the Franconians admitted late contact with the coach, who was currently affected by shoulder surgery, via an advisor:”With regard to his merits and his current health situation, we wanted to end the collaboration in a coordinated manner and regret that this was not possible,”said a club announcement.
Bamberg, who fell out of the play-off ranks last weekend in the Bundesliga, left the background of the admission open. Trinchieri himself had made his leave of absence public last Monday after three championship titles and a cup win, ahead of the club’s announcement. It is no longer clear how the 49-year-old had been informed about his exemption.
Bamberg’s subsequent justification for Trinchieri’s involuntary departure after almost four years of service also points to the fact that Trinchieri’s working atmosphere at the master craftsman’s has recently been severely disturbed:”In the end, dissatisfaction on all sides led to such great tensions that the supervisory board and management lost confidence in his work. Unfortunately, he wasn’t able to form a team and teach them his game system.”
