NHL: Rieder moves to Los Angeles

Tobias Rieder has made a career step in the North American professional league NHL. The 25-year-old was traded by the Arizona Coyotes as the two-time Stanley Cup winner Los Angeles Kings.

The move from the taillight of the Western Conference to the ninth place in the standings has significantly increased the striker’s chances of taking part in the play-offs.

“What I’ve been looking for is speed and scoring,”said Los Angeles’ General Manager Rob Blake to Rieders commitment:”He’s bringing us a much-needed element on the left.”

Rieder has so far this season scored 19 points (eight goals, eleven assists) in 58 games for the Coyotes. The native of Landshut, who made his debut in November 2014 in the Coyotes’ jersey, scored 111 points (51 goals, 60 assists) in 292 games for Arizona.
