Olympia 2018: Shorttrack: Relay Gold goes to Hungary

The Hungarian men’s relay team won gold at the end of the short-track competitions in Pyeongchang/South Korea and won their country the first medal of the Winter Games.

The quartet won the A-final in 6:31,990 minutes ahead of China and Canada. The hosts were without a chance after a fall, were fourth after 5000 m and missed their seventh medal.

Liu Shaoang, Shaolin Sandor Liu, Viktor Knoch and Csaba Burjan prevailed over the Chinese. There was no German squadron in Pyeongchang.
